Is Ask Wonder a Scam or Legit?-Review

Ask Wonder is 2.5 of 5 Rating

Sure thing! Here's a more relaxed take on it: "Hey there! Wonder is a cool site that actually pays you to be a researcher. If you're into writing, you might dig this. But if you're all about making quick cash, this might not be your jam."

Love writing? Well, guess what - you can actually make some extra cash by being an online researcher.

So, there's this site called Wonder (or Ask Wonder) that claims they'll pay you to do research for them.

But is Ask Wonder the real deal? And is it any good? Let's break it down and consider a few things.

What is Ask Wonder and what does it offer?

"So, Ask Wonder, also known as Wonder, is like a research gig where you can make some cash.

They say it's about tapping into the brainpower of a bunch of analysts worldwide, and that's where you come in. You can earn by being one of these analysts.

It might sound a bit complex, but really, it's pretty simple. Just a heads-up though, the process can be a bit lengthy, so if you're not into putting in the work, this might not be your thing.

To really gauge how much you can make, let's take a closer look at how you can earn with Wonder."

The Earning Opportunity – Research Projects

There's only one way you can earn from this site, and that is by participating in research projects.

If you've been a member of survey sites before and expect that the research projects offered by Ask Wonder will be similar, then you will be disappointed.

It's a bit more complicated than that.

To earn from this site, you must participate in research projects involving a lot of work

When you sign in as a researcher for Wonder, you'll see all the questions you can tackle (check out the image above).

Just remember, these questions won't be your typical yes or no, or multiple-choice type. You'll actually need to dive into your own research to craft the answers. So, get ready to write - it's like a school assignment.

In a way, you'll be like a student, but instead of a grade, you'll be earning money for your submissions.

Each answer you give needs to be well-crafted and to the point because the companies asking the questions will be using your information.

Once you pick a question, you'll need to go through a few steps before you can start researching. Plus, each question comes with a basic guideline to follow.

After you've submitted your work and it's approved, that's when you'll get paid for your effort.

How do you get paid?

For every question you successfully answer, you will receive a certain amount of money, which will be credited to your Ask Wonder account. You will then receive payment every two weeks via PayPal.

When you become a researcher for Wonder, you can log in to the site and view all the questions you can answer.

Keep in mind that the answers to the questions won't be simple yes or no, or multiple choice.

You will have to do your own research to answer them, which involves writing, similar to an assignment for school. In reality, you'll be like a student, but instead of getting a good grade for submitting your answer, you will receive money instead.

Every answer you provide must be well put together and concise because the companies asking the questions will use the information you've provided. When you choose a question to answer, you will have to complete a few steps first before you can start your research.

Each question will also give you a basic guideline to follow. When you've submitted your work, and it gets accepted, that's the time you will receive the payment for the work you've done.

It's a bit different than other survey sites because you don't actually have to reach a certain amount to withdraw your earnings. You will automatically be paid via PayPal every two weeks. So, whatever you've earned in the two weeks you've spent researching, will be the amount you will receive.

This, in my opinion, makes earning from this site a bit more convenient. So, if you are interested in becoming a researcher, I suggest you sign up for a PayPal account as well if you have none.

How much money can you make?

As you probably already know, Ask Wonder is quite different from your typical survey sites, especially when it comes to earning. Your earnings will depend on how many questions you can tackle every two weeks.

Since you get paid for each research project completed, how much you make is really up to you, but it also depends on the number of available projects.

The pay is actually pretty decent. According to long-time members, you can earn around $8 to $35 for every question you answer. That's a pretty significant amount, in my opinion. Plus, as you gain more experience, your pay will increase, and you'll even get paid by the hour, like you're working a full-time job.

But, keep in mind that what you earn from this site won't compare to a regular job. You still need to ensure that your answers are accepted in order to get paid, so it's not guaranteed every time you finish a research project.

The amount you receive for each question will depend on its difficulty. The more work it requires, the more it pays. That's how it goes.

Overall, in my opinion, once you get the hang of answering questions properly and are willing to put in some hard work, you can earn a significant amount from this site.

Can you use it on mobile?

Given the kind of earning opportunity Ask Wonder provides, I wouldn't really recommend using your mobile device for this site. It involves a lot of writing and research, so using a computer would be much more comfortable and convenient.

However, their website is optimized for mobile use, so you can still log in and check if there are any questions available. That's pretty much the only useful purpose I can think of for using a mobile device with this site.

Who can join Wonder?

Now, onto the trickier part of the site. Although Ask Wonder is available globally, registering can be a bit challenging. Unlike other survey sites, the registration process is quite rigorous.

To start the long registration process, you have to fill out the sign-up form

To kick off the registration process, you'll need to fill out a registration form and then answer a survey to build your researcher profile.

As part of the registration process, you'll need to answer several basic questions and upload your CV or Resume. There's also a bit of writing involved, as you'll be asked to do a small write-up about yourself. This serves as a sample for Wonder to assess if you meet their standards, especially in writing.

That's why I stressed the writing part at the beginning of this article. Their registration process is kind of like a job interview.

Once you've completed the survey, you'll have to wait for 1 to 3 business days to find out if you've been accepted.

Part of being a researcher for Ask Wonder is being able to do web searches properly

The photo above shows the basic requirements they need for their researchers.

As you can see, the work required won't be as easy compared to the usual survey sites you'll encounter on the internet. So, if you're not prepared to put in the work, then this site might not be the best fit for you.

Once you get approved as a researcher, you can then start doing research projects.

The good thing is that you'll receive a $50 bonus on top of the actual pay for the first research project you complete. Think of it as a thank-you for becoming a researcher.

Just keep in mind that Ask Wonder doesn't always accept new members, so it might take some patience to even be able to apply.

Can you get support?

Wonder does provide you with a way to reach out to them in case you need assistance with your account or run into any problems. You can easily get in touch with their support team through their Help page.

If you need to get in touch with their support team, you can use their contact form

You can chat with their support team by clicking on the Help tab on the member dashboard. You'll be able to send your inquiries that way.

They also have an FAQ section, but it doesn't cover a lot of the topics about being a researcher.

One great thing about how they provide support is that once you become a member, you'll be given access to guidelines and sources of information that can help you with your research. So, they really do help you do your work a lot better.

That makes their support a bit more useful than many other survey sites I've encountered.

Conclusion

Wonder is a legitimate survey site that actually pays you for becoming a researcher. It has some really appealing qualities and a few drawbacks as well.

Here's a summary of its pros and cons to give you more insight into whether this site is worth joining or not.

Pros:

  • Pays relatively well

  • Payment via PayPal is available

  • Payments will be processed automatically every two weeks

Cons:

  • Limited earning opportunities

  • Requires a lot of time to complete a research project

  • The registration process is quite long

  • Does not always accept new members

As I've mentioned at the beginning of this article, if you enjoy writing, you might like this site because writing will be needed to earn from it. But if you prefer easier ways to earn, this site might not be the best fit for you.

In my opinion, Ask Wonder jobs are not for everyone. Yes, you can earn a significant amount, but it will take up most of your time, and you will have to work hard for it.

You can earn a significant amount from this site if you do your job well. But if you prefer to be more efficient with your time, you might be better off joining simpler survey sites, in my opinion.

If you have any comments, questions, or have any experiences with Wonder yourself, I would love to hear from you
